Bio

Cal Olivier has been on stage from the age of 12 as a member of a number of successful groups, ranging from Reggae to Rock, and more recently Folk/Americana as he made the transition from band member to frontman. A jack-of-all-trades, he has tried his hand at many instruments over time, spending many of his performing years as a competent bass player, now currently specializing in acoustic guitar, incorporating percussive looping techniques to emphasize his signature “beach bum” sound. Cal has the unique ability to make you feel as if you’re on an island getaway, even if its just Happy Hour on a Tuesday in Tampa.

Over the years, Cal has shared the stage and studio with names such as Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, Tommy Tutone, Greg Hawkes (The Cars), Rehab, Steel Pulse, Keller Williams, John Paul White (The Civil Wars), along with many more.
